Northfield remodel

This homeowner/landlord, after decades of renting out this property, knew it needed a major update including a new home office, a full gut and replaced kitchen, a pantry and more. In addition to adding to the property’s usefulness, life and value he was quite pleased to realize his goal of recouping the investment relatively quickly – he is now able to charge $700 more in rent than he had previously.

New Glenview Great Room

RMWGlenviewKitchenBy removing the wall between the Kitchen and Dining Room in this Glenview house, Rick was able to give this homeowner the large entertaining space that she wanted. The resulting beautiful Kitchen, Eating area and Family room with fireplace, TV mounted over the mantle and built in shelves, is comfortable but sophisticated, just what the homeowner wanted. Rick also added a powder room and built a bar and new laundry room in the basement.

Arlington Heights Great Room

In order to accomplish his client’s goal of a larger, more open space, Rick removed the old Kitchen and the Dining Room partition in this Arlington Heights home. He replaced them with a great room that includes a larger, more modern kitchen with island, an open, flexible eating area and a Family room with custom fireplace and built in shelves. He even found room for a perfect entry mud room.

Master Suite with office

This Northfield client is enjoying this much reworked end of the house with its new primary bedroom, ensuite bathroom with double vanity, tub and separate luxury shower, double walk-in closets and separate office.
